Shauna McVeigh

A woman with long, wavy blonde hair and black glasses smiling at the camera, standing in front of a white brick wall.

I am Shauna McVeigh, a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, where I trained at both WPF and BPF.

I have experience supporting individuals with a range of challenges, including neurodiversity, depression, anxiety, identity, self-confidence and self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss, parenting and pregnancy-related concerns.

I offer a warm, open, and compassionate space where we can explore the issues at hand, as well as the underlying patterns that may be shaping how we navigate life.

I believe that each person is unique. While we may share similar experiences, we internalize and process them in our own individual ways.

I began my career as an Occupational Psychologist, working globally with individuals, teams and organisations. I then retrained as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist to offer more in-depth support to help individuals understand and work with the root causes of emotional and relational issues.

I am accredited by the UKCP and the BPC and adhere to their code of ethics. Additionally, I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) as an Occupational Psychologist and am registered with the HCPC.
