Valia Charalampidou (she/her), is a British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) accredited Psychotherapist. She practices Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, a psychoanalytically informed, comprehensive, and integrative approach. Rather than simply addressing surface-level symptoms, you will explore the unconscious processes and early experiences that shape your current emotional and relational life. Instead of prescribing advice, Valia aims to helping you discover your own answers.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, Valia lived and worked across Europe and the Gulf, and she bring this rich experience into her practice. Having spent many years in the corporate world, she understands the impact of cultural, societal, and professional pressures on one’s sense of self.

Valia has subsequently re-trained at the British Psychotherapy Foundation and the WPF Therapy. She is a full member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, the UK Council for Psychotherapy, the British Psychotherapy Foundation and the Foundation of Psychotherapy and Counselling.

She worked as an Honorary Counsellor at the NHS, specifically with the Community Living Well service under the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. This role has provided her with valuable experience in delivering psychological therapies to a diverse client base, further enriching her practice.

Sessions are offered in English or in Greek.
